On August 26, 2014, Staver Law Group’s client, a 36-year-old male, was operating a vehicle in a northbound direction on or about North Cottage Grove Street near 192nd Street, in the City of Glenwood, County of Cook, Illinois when another vehicle made a left hand turn directly into the path of our client. Staver Law Group’s client sustained an acute tear with acute chondral defect of the lateral fenoral condyle. He underwent right knee arthroscopy with partial medial and lateral meniscetomy and ACL reconstruction. Following surgical intervention, his doctor found that our client had significant instability in his knee and may be at risk for a complete knee replacement later in life. The personal injury and car accident lawyers at Staver Law Group filed a lawsuit and was able to negotiate a settlement prior to a jury trial. The negligent driver’s insurance company settled for the maximum amount of their policy limits for $250,000.00 in April 2015.
